Alongside real estate, he has also owned and operated a very successful business that has propelled his business and customer service skills to an exceptional level.

I have been an area resident for most of my life and a real estate professional since 1994; helping lots of people find the right home in the right area at the right price. As our communities here cater to families and seniors, the activities for both are endless! Just make sure that when you purchase your home you have room for company, everyone loves to come to Parksville.
This is a wonderful place to live. When I moved here with my family in 1969, the phone book had three pages dedicated to Parksville numbers and it was a one street light town. I attended junior and senior High School here. My husband and I have two great daughters. We did moms and tots, pre-school, elementary, middle and high schools here. Our children are very lucky to have such great sports, dance and recreation programs.
Through the years we have been curlers and bowlers, my husband has played in many ball leagues. Fishing and camping are so easy – you can go back and forth to work from the campground when the weather is too nice to come home. Before becoming a real estate professional I worked for local politician and chartered accountant, Anton Kruyt. My husband is an electrician, and has also spent 30 years with the volunteer fire department, having served as deputy chief for 12 of those years. Our roots in this community run very deep. A big part of my community contributions involve working with the SPCA and regularly sponsoring ads for animals that need homes.
As a result I’ve become well known as “the pet lovers realtor”.
I invite you to find out more about Parksville real estate and our island lifestyle. After all, Parksville real estate is some of the most desirable in North America. Contact me today! I’d love to show you and your family why I believe you’ll enjoy living here as much as everyone else does.
My background gave me a unique skill set as I am mother to seven children. Having four teenagers in the house at one time is perhaps the best training there is in negotiating, diplomatic problem solving, multi-tasking, and communications. When the time came for me to find a career other than homemaking, I had my choice of directions to go and I chose real estate because the fit was perfect.
A move to Parksville in 1999 allowed me to pursue a diploma in Finance at Malaspina University College – now Vancouver Island University- and come into the local real estate community with an administrative position in 2003 where I learned from the proverbial, and appropriate, “ground up”.
I have had the unique opportunity of being in this business on both Canadian coasts as my family took a year in Nova Scotia in 2005, where I was licensed as an agent before returning to BC and acquiring my license here.
I am informed and enthusiastic about this part of Vancouver Island after 16 years here and am pleased to be able to assist other people who are lucky enough to be able make their homes here as well.

Jason is an upbeat, positive person, that can always find a silver lining in any situation. He moved to Parksville in 2016, so that he and his family could enjoy the island life. Moving from the lower mainland, he has a great understanding of the many reasons people are looking to move to a fantastic place like Oceanside.
Jason brings a different approach to helping clients with buying and selling their homes. As a real estate investor of over ten years, Jason understands that a house can be a home, but it’s also one of the most expensive investments you can make. In order to make sure your investment is a good one, he knows it is of utmost importance to understand demographics, local economy, causes of market fluctuations, and a host of other external influences on housing prices.
Jason also has a healthy amount of knowledge about construction, rehab, and renovations. He has done everything from simple flooring and paint renovations, to full gut rehabilitations. With this knowledge, he has gained an eye for seeing possibilities in houses, that others miss. Moving a wall, or adding a bathroom might be easier than you think, and could turn a plain house, into the house of your dreams.
Jason wanted to become a Realtor because he knows, when you’re passionate about something, you do your best work. Renovations, knowing markets and finding great deals are the things that he’s passionate about. Why not use his passion and knowledge to help other people find a home?

About four years ago we made a decision to move from Toronto to Parksville/Qualicum Beach, a stunningly beautiful seaside community. That decision has proved to be one of the best moves of my life!
It’s all about lifestyle and when you choose Parksville/Qualicum Beach you are virtually living the dream.
Imagine the mildest climate in Canada, large sandy beaches that stretch for miles, massive old growth forests and endless outdoor activities like year round golf. If you enjoy wildlife you will see eagles, seals, sea lions and potentially spot a whale or two swimming and playing up and down the Georgia Straight, how could you not love it!
I’m extremely proud that my son Tyson and my daughter Ivy can now peruse their passions with a sense of purpose, we are living the dream lifestyle…
If you’ve been thinking about a life on Vancouver Island I encourage you to take action now, if not now then when? Are you going to continue to live in default? Or would you rather begin to live a lifestyle by design?
With over two decades of experience in serving people like you and families like yours I’m qualified to take your order.
I would love, absolutely adore hearing you describe in detail your dream location and lifestyle you desire.

Arriving in Nanaimo in 1993 from the Prairie provinces; Bev has immensely enjoyed the wonders of Vancouver Island.
Riding the trails along the Englishman River on her horses is one of Bev’s favorite pastimes.
Introducing clients to this Island paradise is another activity in which Bev takes great pleasure.
Assisting buyers in finding the ‘perfect home or property’ is always a rewarding experience.
Bev’s local and business knowledge, exceptional negotiating skills and above all; her extremely high level of integrity and her ‘genuine caring’ for her clients make every experience one the clients feel has ‘exceeded their expectations’.

With over 20 years of experience, both as a Realtor and Owner/Manager of my own independent real estate office in Alberta, I am excited to be participating in the Vancouver Island real estate industry. As much as I enjoyed the years I spent in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, my love of the water thrives here on Vancouver Island. I am so proud to be representing Pemberton Holmes Ltd., the largest independent real estate office on Vancouver Island and the oldest real estate company in North America. What do I love about this company? I am fascinated by the company’s history, but more so, I am proud to be associated with a company that truly represents the age old profession of real estate with dignity, honesty and integrity; values that have stood the test of time.
I look forward to working with current and new members of the Oceanside Community, introducing you to the great team of hardworking and enthusiastic real estate agents I work with, and helping to make your move a great one! I promise you will be provided with the utmost in service. Especially with ever-increasing technological advances, I feel strongly that personal customer service is still the key to a mutually rewarding REALTOR®-client relationship and long-term business success.
Areas of Expertise
Over my real estate career, I have worked in many marketplaces, from the “boom” to the “bust; they both provide their own challenges to homebuyers and sellers. Whether you’re looking for, or considering the sale of, a new home, condominium property, “home away from home” or vacation home rental, I will be happy to assist you in making your best personal decision.
Beginning with an education in social work, I feel I have continued on in a “helping” profession. Following fifteen successful years as a REALTOR® and having achieved REALTOR® of the Year nominee for two consecutive years, I attained my broker’s license and opened my own office in 2000. Eventually I was overseeing the operation and management of 35 realtors. I have also been involved in volunteer community work for most of my adult life, working in many different organizations, and I continue to be involved with local not-for-profit organizations here on Vancouver Island.
